About this tool
Add audio and read its information and real waveform. Configure MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG, FLAC, Opus, AAC, AC3 or PCM globally or per file, including sample rate, channels, bitrate or bit depth. Drag to reorder; newly added files are read separately and conversion reuses the original uploads. Use compact voice, balanced or higher-bitrate presets and compare the actual change in file size.
How to use
- Add MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG, FLAC, AAC, Opus AC3 or raw PCM / RAW. Confirm raw PCM encoding, sample rate and channels before preparing previews.
- Drag to reorder and choose shared or individual output settings.
- Compare the actual result, preview and download. Retry failed files separately.
Frequently asked questions
Does a higher bitrate improve quality?
It cannot restore detail already lost in the source. Re-encoding a lossy format may reduce quality. Size estimates are approximate; actual output details and size are shown.
Which output formats are available?
MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG, FLAC, Opus, AAC and AC3 depend on real server codec probes. WAV supports 16/24/32-bit PCM; FLAC supports 16/24-bit; OGG uses Vorbis; Opus uses a 48000 Hz playback clock. AAC (ADTS) and AC3 retain encoder delay and end padding, with actual duration and padding shown in the result. AC3 supports 32/44.1/48 kHz, up to 6 channels, and standard bitrates from 32 to 640 kbps. Raw PCM / RAW accepts signed or unsigned 8-bit, little/big-endian 16/24/32-bit integer and 32/64-bit float, with explicit sample rate and interleaved channels per file. PCM output uses signed little-endian 16/24/32-bit samples and includes a parameter JSON; the ZIP contains both audio and parameters.
Can I edit or convert chained audio?
This tool converts formats. Use Audio Trimmer for editing. Chained or multiplexed Ogg is not supported to avoid omitting tracks. Low-rate MP3 clips with fewer than 47 samples require WAV or at least 32000 Hz.
Does the preview match the download?
The exported file is played directly when supported. Otherwise, an MP3 preview generated from the actual output is used. Source playback also uses a compatible preview. Downloads retain the selected format; ZIP contains successfully converted audio and PCM parameter files.
How long are files stored?
Originals, previews, reports and results are deleted within 24 hours and can be deleted immediately. Reusing an upload never extends its original expiry.
Will compression always make the file smaller?
No. Already compressed or very short files can grow; results show the actual change. Adjust bitrate, sample rate, channels or format and compare playback. WAV/PCM are uncompressed, so reducing their size requires fewer samples, channels or bits. FLAC preserves the selected integer bit depth, but cannot restore detail from lossy sources.
Can I change speed and volume in a batch?
Apply 25–400% speed and 0–300% volume globally or per file. 100% preserves speed and gain; volume 0% mutes. Outputs are limited to two hours and amplification may distort. Videos use the first audio track. Preparation previews remain original; preview actual effects after export.
