Frequently asked questions
Are files uploaded?
Files and results stay in a browser Worker. Only run status, duration, cell count and download actions are reported.
Is full Excel layout preserved?
This is a data converter. HTML supports merges, dimensions and common XLSX fonts, colors, borders and alignment, excluding images, charts, conditional formatting and print layout. Markdown / TXT omit complex layout.
How are formulas and passwords handled?
Macros and formulas are not executed. Saved formula results are exported; missing results require recalculating and saving first. Encrypted workbooks are unsupported.
What are the limits?
Up to 10 files, 10 MB each and 30 MB total; 30 sheets per workbook, 20,000 rows and 256 columns per sheet, 100,000 cells total. Administrators may lower the cell limit.
