Up to 4096 digits; integers only. Signs, matching 0b / 0o / 0x prefixes and single spaces between digits are accepted.

Grouping affects result display; copies have no spaces. Your current input stays as typed.

About this tool

Edit any binary, octal, decimal, hexadecimal or custom-base field to update the others. Browser integer arithmetic preserves large positive and negative values without floating-point conversion. Input and results stay in page memory; only run status, duration, conversion count and copy events are reported.

How to use

  1. Enter an integer in any field. Conversion starts after a short pause.
  2. Change the custom base, letter case or grouping to view results instantly.
  3. Copy one field or all. Locate invalid characters and clear the page after use.

Frequently asked questions

Are fractions supported?

This version accepts integers only. Decimal points, commas, scientific notation, newlines and tabs are not accepted. Invalid characters are located, never silently truncated or ignored.

Will large integers lose precision?

Calculations use integer arithmetic without floating-point conversion. The default input limit is 4096 digits, excluding a leading sign, matching prefix and single grouping spaces. Output can have more digits. Longer input is explicitly rejected.

How do prefixes and grouping work?

Only 0b, 0o or 0x matching the selected base is recognized, case-insensitively. Other letters are interpreted as digits in that base. Single spaces can separate digits; leading, trailing, repeated or post-prefix spaces are rejected. Output is grouped from the right in threes for octal/decimal and fours otherwise. Copies have no spaces.

Does switching the base start a new run or upload values?

After one calculation, results for bases 2–36 are kept locally. Changing the custom base, letter case or grouping starts no new run. Input values, bases, digit counts and results are never uploaded.
