How to use
- Choose a static JPG, PNG or WebP and remove the background or use original alpha.
- Zoom to refine edges with restore/erase brushes, feather and undo/redo. Background replacement supports canvas dimensions and moving/scaling the subject.
- Generate PNG/WebP, download and delete temporary files, or let them expire within 24 hours.
Frequently asked questions
Where does recognition run?
Your browser runs the self-hosted, integrity-checked U2NetP model on this device. Originals are not sent to an external AI API. The first run loads model/runtime files. Leaving or clearing loses edits.
Are complex edges always accurate?
The lightweight model can miss hair, translucent objects or difficult backgrounds. Its mask is an estimate. Refine with restore/erase brushes and inspect at full size. Existing transparent images can use original alpha.
Which images are supported?
Static JPG/PNG/WebP up to 20MP and 16384 pixels per side; administrators may lower limits. Custom canvas sides are up to 6000 pixels within the pixel limit. PNG preserves alpha; WebP uses lossy quality encoding.
