About this tool
Plot two numeric columns as X,Y points to inspect distributions and relationships. Use two columns, X,Y; both must be valid numbers and may include negative values. Inspect axis ranges and outliers; this plot does not calculate a regression line or correlation coefficient. Data and charts are processed in your browser and can be exported as PNG, SVG or CSV. Examples are illustrative.
How to use
- Use two columns, X,Y; both must be valid numbers and may include negative values.
- Set the title, palette, background and value labels, then generate the chart.
- Inspect axis ranges and outliers; this plot does not calculate a regression line or correlation coefficient. Compare the data table before downloading the image or CSV.
Frequently asked questions
Can the first column contain category names?
No. The first column supplies numeric X coordinates. Use a column chart for category comparisons.
Which inputs are rejected?
Headers must be nonempty and unique, and numeric cells cannot be empty. Up to 1000 rows and 12 numeric series are supported; single-series and specialized charts have further column rules. Administrators may lower the row limit.
Does editing automatically update the chart?
Generate again after edits. Old results are cleared to avoid exporting a chart for stale input. Value labels are hidden above 40 rows; full data remains in the table and CSV.
