About this tool
Stack series horizontally to compare category composition and totals. Use categories first, then numeric components with consistent units. Inspect horizontal stacks and legends; signed values are allowed, so define their meaning clearly. Data and charts are processed in your browser and can be exported as PNG, SVG or CSV. Examples are illustrative.
How to use
- Use categories first, then numeric components with consistent units.
- Set the title, palette, background and value labels, then generate the chart.
- Inspect horizontal stacks and legends; signed values are allowed, so define their meaning clearly. Compare the data table before downloading the image or CSV.
Frequently asked questions
Is it useful for long category names?
Categories are on the vertical axis, often making long names easier to read. Very long labels can still be truncated; full names remain in the data table.
Which inputs are rejected?
Headers must be nonempty and unique, and numeric cells cannot be empty. Up to 1000 rows and 12 numeric series are supported; single-series and specialized charts have further column rules. Administrators may lower the row limit.
Does editing automatically update the chart?
Generate again after edits. Old results are cleared to avoid exporting a chart for stale input. Value labels are hidden above 40 rows; full data remains in the table and CSV.
