Frequently asked questions
Are images or encodings uploaded?
No. Only status, duration, check counts and copy/download actions are reported. Images, encodings, filenames and content are never sent. Content cannot be recovered after leaving, reloading or clearing.
Which formats and sizes are supported?
JPG/PNG/WebP/GIF/BMP, up to 20MiB, 20MP and 16384px per edge. Administrators may lower limits. SVG, HTML, remote URLs and non-Base64 data URLs are unsupported. Import TXT as UTF-8.
Are image bytes changed?
No. Base64 changes the representation of bytes; it does not compress, remove metadata or re-encode images. Downloads match the original bytes. Animation previews show the first frame while downloads retain the original animation.
Why is only part of the encoding shown?
Large outputs show the first 64Ki characters for a responsive mobile experience. Copy and TXT download include all content. The display selector controls whether TXT includes the data URL prefix.
Can I omit padding or add line breaks?
Standard Base64, ASCII whitespace and omitted trailing padding are accepted. Length, padding and trailing bits are checked. URL-safe letters, incorrect MIME, damaged or oversized images are rejected.
