Levels are digital values relative to full scale, not calibrated sound pressure or environmental decibels. Noise reduction, automatic gain and echo cancellation affect results; settings are reported by the device. Audio is not monitored through speakers.
Preparation is limited to 10 seconds; device access waits up to 20 seconds, audio startup 5 seconds, video playback startup 8 seconds. Stop, hide or leave to release devices. The browser prompt may remain, but late grants are immediately closed. Device names, media and measurements are not uploaded or persisted.

Does successful access certify hardware?
No. It observes browser media, not hardware quality. Microphone levels are digital dBFS, not calibrated sound pressure. Camera requests video only. Access waits 20 seconds, audio startup 5 seconds, video startup 8 seconds; late cancelled streams are closed.
