Frequently asked questions
Which voices and languages are supported?
The initial voices are Chinese female 001, Chinese male 009 and English female Maple. Chinese, English and mixed text are supported. There is no voice cloning or cloud synthesis. Listen before publishing because pronunciation can be incorrect.
How do pauses work?
Each pause is appended to its paragraph, including the last paragraph. Complete audio follows the paragraph order. Speed ranges from 0.5 to 2 times; pauses range from 0 to 5000 milliseconds.
How are text and files stored?
Text and paragraph settings stay in private temporary document files, outside task options and statistics. Files last up to 24 hours and can be deleted. Continued edits from saved results inherit the source expiry.
What are the output specifications?
Output is 24 kHz mono. WAV uses 16-bit PCM; MP3 supports 64, 96, 128 or 160 kbps. Each paragraph allows up to 500 characters. Total characters, paragraph count and duration follow the displayed limits.
