About this tool
Edit real waveforms with draggable handles or precise times. Join selected ranges or remove selections. Reverse the joined program, repeat it 1–8 times and fade the outer edges. Selection playback uses the source; preview the actual export and inspect each repetition and its decoded duration.
How to use
- Upload one audio file and read its waveform.
- Drag both ends, arrange segments and set output options.
- Trim, preview the actual result and download or delete the files.
Frequently asked questions
Can I trim by dragging?
Yes. Drag the left blue handle for the start, the right for the end, or the selection to move it. Mouse and phone touch are supported. Zoom or use time fields for precision.
How long are files stored?
Waveforms, previews, source files and output are temporary and removed within 24 hours, or immediately on request. Reading the waveform does not count as a formal trim.
Which formats are supported?
Accepts the 30 audio/video extensions listed on this page, subject to actual decoding. Only the first audio track is used; video frames are not exported and files without audio are rejected. Exports MP3/WAV/M4A/FLAC/AAC. Convert raw PCM with explicit interpretation settings in Audio Converter first.
How can I hear the fades?
Editing previews source selections. Fades apply to the combined output edges. Preview the actual exported result and review its source mapping and decoded duration.
How does playback looping differ from export repetition?
Playback looping only affects the player. Export repetitions writes 1–8 copies into the actual download; 1 means no repetition. The joined program is reversed before repetition, preserving channel positions. Output is limited to 2 hours, file size and available workspace; each source and edited float PCM temporary file is capped at 1 GiB.
Are speed and volume applied to the downloaded file?
Yes. Speed is 0.5–4× with pitch preserved. Volume 0% mutes, 100% preserves gain, and 300% is the maximum. The sequence is trim/join, reverse, repeat, speed, volume and outer fades. Selection playback uses the source. Result playback uses a compatible preview generated from the actual export; downloads retain the selected format.
