About this tool

Add a main track and overlays, or record a track with your microphone. Read waveforms, trim each track and set insertion time, fades and volume. The main track starts at zero; overlays can be reordered. Removing the main track promotes the next track and resets its start to zero. Generate the actual mix to preview and download.

How to use

  1. Add media or recordings and prepare waveforms.
  2. Set each track’s position, trim, fades and volume.
  3. Generate, preview and download the actual mix.

Frequently asked questions

How does this differ from joining audio?

Mixing overlays tracks at their insertion times. Joining places clips sequentially. Retain all tracks or trim the output to the main track.

Why is the result distorted?

Track levels are summed without automatic normalization. Excessive levels are hard clipped. Lower track or master volume and regenerate the preview.

Which formats are supported?

Thirty explicit audio/video extensions, using the first audio track. Export MP3/WAV/M4A/OGG/FLAC/Opus/AAC/AC3/PCM. Interpret raw PCM inputs in the audio converter first. PCM output includes parameters; raw AAC/AC3 report encoder padding.

What does recording require?

Allow microphone access in a secure browser with MediaRecorder support. Recordings join the track list and are uploaded during preparation. Discarding a recording or leaving stops the microphone.
