Frequently asked questions
Does changing speed change the pitch?
The server preserves pitch at speeds from 0.50 to 2.00. Complex music and extreme speeds can still affect sound quality; listen to the actual output.
Does dragging the waveform trim my export?
No. The handles select a listening region only. Export processes the entire audio. Use Audio Trimmer if you want to crop it.
Is instant preview identical to the download?
Instant preview is implemented by the browser and may differ from server processing. Unsupported browsers prompt you to generate an actual result. The result player does not apply the speed a second time.
Which formats are supported?
Input MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG, FLAC or AAC; output MP3 or 16-bit PCM WAV. MP3 supports up to two channels and 48000 Hz. Explicitly choose mono or stereo for multichannel sources.
How long are files stored?
Sources, waveforms, previews and outputs are temporary and deleted within 24 hours, or immediately on request. Reading the waveform does not count as formal use.
