About this tool
Convert a nonempty JSON array of flat objects to CSV. The server rejects nested arrays and objects, allows up to 10,000 rows and 100 columns, and writes UTF-8 CSV with a byte-order mark. Columns can be reordered; the default formula-protection option prefixes potentially executable spreadsheet cells with an apostrophe. One JSON/TXT input up to 5 MiB is supported.
How to use
- Paste a JSON array of flat objects or choose one JSON/TXT file.
- Choose comma, semicolon or tab separation; review column order and formula protection.
- Convert, inspect the table preview and download converted.csv.
Frequently asked questions
Can nested JSON be flattened?
No. Object or array values inside a row are rejected; flatten them before conversion.
Why do some cells start with an apostrophe?
Formula protection is enabled by default to prevent spreadsheet software from executing cells beginning with formula-like characters.
