About this tool
Paste names or import CSV in your browser, choose the name column and proofread. Edit names, include or remove entries, drag to reorder, and choose duplicate rules and a draw count. Rounds never replace drawn entries. Copy or download TXT and CSV with source records.
How to use
- Enter one name per line and proofread, or drop CSV/TSV and select encoding, delimiter, header and name column before reading.
- Correct or remove invalid records, select participants, and drag or use up/down buttons to reorder. Choose duplicate rules and a draw count, then start.
- Review the round and skip the reveal animation if desired. Draw another round, reset, or copy and download the current round or all rounds.
Frequently asked questions
Are names uploaded or saved?
Names, file names and results are not uploaded. They stay in page memory. The server receives only visits, run status, duration, actual draw counts and copy/download actions. Clearing or leaving removes the content.
How are duplicate names handled?
The default merges identical trimmed, Unicode-normalized names case-sensitively. Excluding or removing a merged name affects the whole group. Keep-each-row mode gives every source record one place, including identical names.
Can someone be drawn again in another round?
Entries are never replaced within or between rounds of the same roster. Preparation or failure does not consume entries; successful commit does. Roster, duplicate-rule or import-setting changes reset history. Changing only the next count does not.
Does skipping animation change the result?
No. A secure random source determines the result before it is revealed. Show now, reduced motion and page hiding never resample the result. This tool does not provide notarization or certified commercial raffles.
Which encodings and source numbers are supported?
UTF-8, GB18030/GBK, UTF-16LE/BE and BOM are supported. Without a BOM, Auto tries strict UTF-8. Source record ordinals include the header; physical start lines are retained separately. A terminal newline does not add a participant.
Are 001 and special names preserved in downloads?
Import and CSV preserve the string 001. If spreadsheet software infers a number, import the column as text. CSV prefixes possible formulas with an apostrophe; TXT retains original text. Quotes and commas follow CSV escaping rules.
Do review and animation count as usage?
Reading, proofreading, reordering and animation do not count as runs. Each Start action creates one run, with successful items equal to the number actually drawn. Copying or downloading all history is attributed to the latest successful round.
